This dad is practically starring in his own sitcom.

This dad's thigh-bearing style thechnically needs no expanation, all looks paired with the fashionable mustache of the times and a few looks featuring the now-ubiquitous mullet. Notice the oft-sported t-shirt tan as well as the epic dragon tattoo. This devil-may-care dad is centerfold worthy!

Candy Pants

OMG! Candy-stipe pants! And that pipe! Its like he saying- "Yes, I am an old-timey type of grandpa, but my bottoms look like they can attract the attention of small children...."

We have struck gold!

Literally, gold. Look at those precious sunshine shorts peaking out down there. And what is that ballerina pose the son on the right is practicing? The "squatting pile"? Thanks to this sweet candy-making father for starting his kids off right with shorties all around.

Dr. No (...Pants)

You may not notice the diguise at first, but look closer and you will notice that this dad is effortlessly portraying a young James Bond, but this time his name is Shorts. Short Shorts. But look fast, he is about to take off from the heliport to catch the bad guys (or some snacks, whichever).

I am sure mom hand selected this pair especially for her big, strong cabana boy... ahem- man! You could almost hear the clink of mom's glass of "ice tea" right now.

Birthday Dad

Well hello there, and welcome to another entry of dads in short shorts. In this photo, we see birthday dad in his natural element, circa 1984. Luckily dad went all out with the decorations here for Kyle's big one year birthday blowout. I just really wish I could zoom in on that drawing on the fridge and see what the quote says. I'm guessing it's something along the lines of, "Dad, pour me a cold one too."

If anyone's dad is embarrassed to be on this site (..or he doesn't even know that he is on this site because you know he will be embarrassed... oops-SORRY DAD!), Grandpa has just slapped some sense into him with this epic pic! I can just hear him now;
"Short? hrmh! You call them short? In MY day, if you weren't showing skin higher than the upper thigh area, you weren't a MAN yet! Look at ME- I wore the shortest swim trunks of them all, and I was treated as a GOD! I would toss around anyone who threatened me in their
