Slip-n-Dad

Another unprompted history lesson in cultural sensitivity at this year's fourth of July barbecue: while we've always thought of short shorts as the modern day fig leaf, it never occurred to us that a slip n slide could so elegantly portray an ancient fountain. Well done, Adelaide's dad.

  1. As the photographer of this picture i thought i would put it in its time and cultural perspective. It was August (good time to wear short shorts), it was Calder's tenth birthday i believe, thats Adelaide at 14 mos and I was not wearing short shorts though clearly YOU adelaide weren't much for pants at all! I am guessing your Dad still has these shorts somewhere.
